Anna has just completed her final year of a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sport Science and is moving into studying Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in 2025. Anna looks forward to growing her knowledge on research, MRI methods and working alongside researchers and others at Mātai. Anna hopes this internship will open possibilities of future careers in physiotherapy or research, as well as forming a connection with her hometown of Tairāwhiti. Anna hopes this internship will set her up with valuable skills and knowledge to make a lasting impact in the allied health sector.
