Brayden Maxwell, a dedicated and ambitious student from Gisborne, has successfully completed a Certificate of Health Science at the University of Auckland and is set to complete a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2025. His end goal is to work in the healthcare industry to provide equitable care to his Māori communities. Growing up in Te Tairāwhiti, the health inequities Brayden has witnessed within his Māori communities remains pervasive.
