Daizee Rawls was born and raised in Gisborne which was an experience she is grateful for. She attended Wainui Beach School, Gisborne Intermediate and Gisborne Girls Highschool before moving to Dunedin to study at UoO in 2022. She has a passion for wanting to help people and taking Psychology at GGHS sparked her interest for her academic pathway. Being surrounded by people of such a high calibre here at Mātai is an exciting opportunity for her to push herself and gain valuable knowledge while simultaneously giving back to the community that supported her. Daizee hopes to gain professional and personal qualities that will be influential not only in her future career but to her connections built here in Tairāwhiti.
