CEO of the National Imaging Facility, Australia
Graham has been CEO of the National Imaging Facility, since its inception in 2007, as part of the National Research Infrastructure of Australia. In this position he is responsible for developing strategic direction for a network of biomedical imaging capabilities, across ten universities and including ANSTO as a strategic partner. Graham is passionate about collaborative infrastructure, and works with the nodes of NIF to deliver a capability that includes access to world-leading equipment, collaboration with scientists experienced in the use of imaging across a wide range of applications, and best practice in data management, including encouraging users to adopt F.A.I.R. data practices – Findable, Accessible. Interoperable, Reusable. He is also Director of Imaging Technology at the Translational Research Institute, Brisbane. In this role he is able to follow his other passion, of driving projects in which innovation in imaging can have impact in understanding disease, and influencing clinical practice.
