“Success is not the work of one, but the work of many”

Harry Naske

2024 Intern

Harry is a first-year computer engineering student at the University of Canterbury, originally from Tairāwhiti. He is excited about the upcoming internship, seeing it as a key opportunity to gain practical experience and apply the skills he’s acquired in his first year at university. Harry has always been passionate about science and engineering and initially thought he’d need to leave his hometown to pursue these interests. This internship has shown him that he can combine science, engineering, and rural community life.

Having grown up in Tairāwhiti, Harry views this internship as a chance to reconnect with and contribute to his community after being away for a year. He’s eager to use his technical knowledge to benefit his hometown.
