Jamila Fleming has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Canterbury in 2025. She is eager to expand her knowledge in research, MRI methodologies, and psychological science alongside her peers at Mātai. Jamila hopes this internship will open pathways for future research opportunities and strengthen her connection to the Tairāwhiti community, where she aspired to work after her qualifications. She is excited to contribute to and learn from the innovative projects and opportunities Mātai offers.
