Nicholas Kane has completed his final year of a BSc Majoring in Bomedical science at the University of Auckland in 2025. For Nicholas, Mātai is the opportunity to apply the skills he has learned and receive guidance for his future career path. He is excited to join the Mātai Whānau and contribute positively through his research project. It also gives him a meaningful way to reconnect with his whānau in Tairāwhiti and to be involved in the community he cares about.
