Phoebe has found the summer program at Mātai an incredible opportunity to merge a research lens with a clinical lens from medical placement in the hospital to really understand how deeply this research can influence individual and community health outcomes. For her, being able to do spend some more time in Tairāwhiti and to get to know the people and the region better is such a huge bonus too.
