Tevita was born and raised in Tairāwhiti, and is currently in his first year of Engineering at the University of Auckland, where he hopes to specialise in either software or mechatronics. He chose this field because of his strong passion for solving technology-based problems. Tevita is proud to be part of Mātai and deeply appreciates the opportunity the internship provides. It’s a chance for him to gain valuable experience and get a feel for the professional work environment. His goal is to complete his studies and return to Tairāwhiti, where he hopes to find a job that allows him to give back to his community.
