Precision Health Consultancy

What We Offer

Led by Dr Saralyn MacKenzie, we provide comprehensive, one-off health assessments for patients seeking an independent specialist opinion.

Unlike the short appointments you may be used to with your GP, this consultation is 60–90 minutes long, allowing time for a detailed review of your health and personal concerns.

During your consultation, we will:

Review your complete medical history and current health concerns

Conduct a thorough clinical assessment (including a physical exam if clinically appropriate) Review all current medications and treatments

Discuss preventative health measures appropriate for your age and risk factors

Provide evidence-based recommendations for your ongoing health management

Who This Service Is For

This service is ideal if you:

  • Want a comprehensive review of your overall health status in a dedicated 60–90 minute consultation
  • Have non-acute symptoms you’d like investigated (e.g., fatigue, headaches, ongoing concerns that are not urgent)
  • Seek an independent specialist opinion on existing health conditions
  • Want to discuss preventative health screening appropriate for your age and risk profile

Who This Service Is NOT For

🚫 This is not an emergency or urgent care service. Please do not book if you have:

  • Acute symptoms requiring immediate attention (e.g., chest pain, severe headache, sudden neurological changes)
  • Undiagnosed conditions requiring urgent investigation
  • Symptoms that would normally prompt urgent GP review or an emergency department visit

For any urgent concerns, contact your GP immediately or call emergency services.

How the Service Works

Initial Consultation (60–90 minutes)

  • Comprehensive review of your health history and concerns
  • Clinical assessment (with physical exam if appropriate)
  • Discussion of tailored recommendations

If Testing Is Required

  • Tests arranged through private imaging providers
  • Results automatically copied to your GP
  • Follow-up consultation to review results and provide final recommendations

Service Completion

  • After test discussion, you will be discharged back to your GP’s care with detailed written recommendations

Important Information About Ongoing Care

It is not ongoing private specialist care and does not manage acute conditions.

After your assessment (and any required follow-up):

  • Your GP will coordinate implementation of recommendations
  • Your GP may arrange further investigations or referrals if needed
  • Your GP will continue to provide long-term management of your health concerns

👉 For any urgent issues after your consultation, please contact your GP or emergency services.
