Weekly seminar: The Future of Brain Research – Why Brain Health Matters

Speaker

Professor Hanneke Hulst

Topic

We only have one brain, yet most of us spend more time looking after our teeth than our brains. In this seminar, Professor Hanneke Hulst will explore what brain health really means, why it matters throughout life, and what neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis can teach us about keeping our brains healthy. Drawing on her own research and her role as Director of the Centre for Brain Research, she will discuss the future of brain research, the importance of recognising invisible symptoms, and how early action may help people maintain cognitive, emotional and social wellbeing for longer.
