Imogen Amor-Bendall has completed first year Health Science and plans to go into 2nd year of Neuroscience at the University of Otago in 2024. To Imogen, learning more about medical imaging and research from Mātai has opened many new opportunities for her. It has influenced her study plans and brought a new passion into her life. “This internship is an amazing opportunity for any student in Tairāwhiti. It allows us to be able to explore regions of health that are not as mainstream and have a positive impact on our community.”
