Mātai Summer Internship Programme and the opportunities for rangatahi
Speaker
Hugh & Moira Green Senior Research Fellow Maryam Tayebi
Topic
Join us at our upcoming weekly seminar to hear more about the programme, what we have achieved so far, and what interns experience during their time at Mātai — from research and MRI to professional development, Mātauranga Māori, science communication, and community engagement.
We will also share ways researchers, clinicians, organisations, and community members can get involved, whether through mentoring, contributing to programme activities, or developing research projects that interns can take part in.
This session is open to everyone, including families of previous or future interns, students considering applying in the future, and anyone interested in learning more about this opportunity for our rangatahi.
Come along, hear about the programme, meet the team, and stay for a kōrero afterwards. We would love to connect with people who are interested in supporting, collaborating with, or simply learning more about the Mātai Summer Internship Programme.
