Leigh is a founding member of Mātai and has 23 plus years’ experience in developing and supporting radiology clinical practice and more recently research operations. Leigh is an experienced imaging technologist and manager with significant management and leadership experience operating complex cross-functional teams. She has an interest in supporting innovative research programmes which have strong translation into clinical practice for up-lifting health and well-being, especially for Māori.

 

Leigh, is committed to providing a pipeline for “growing our own” STEMM (mātauranga Māori) talent in Tairāwhiti and is a representative of the Mātai Māori Advisory Board, Malaghan Māori Advisory Board, National Radiology Advisory Board and University of Auckland Medical Imaging Advisory Board.
