MRI gives new insights into meth recovery

Mātai Hugh & Moira Green Senior Research Fellow, Maryam Tayebi, is co-leading a world-first study that combines advanced imaging, personal history, clinical treatment, and wrap-around community and cultural support. This unique approach aims to work out who is likely to stay drug-free, who might relapse, and why. If we can better understand individual treatment needs and also develop visible, measurable answers using imaging, we could apply these to a treatment framework that could be scaled nationally and internationally.
