Cheidan Moetara (Rongowhakaata, Tapuika) completed a first year in the certificate in health science at the University of Auckland in 2025. For Cheidan, this internship has opened new doors in the world of health research and given opportunities and insights into different health studies. “This internship is an encouraging, motivating and inspiring environment for youth to be immersed in health-focused research to help our wider community.”
