Imogen Amor-Bendall has completed a BSc Majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Otago in 2024. To Imogen, Mātai has given her the opportunity to practice her degree in a real-world setting, guiding her journey into research. It has influenced her study plans and brought a new passion into her life. “This internship is an amazing opportunity for any student in Tairāwhiti. It allows us to be able to explore health-focused research and have a positive impact on our community.”
