Mātai Team

Jemma is a Gisborne local, born and raised in Tairāwhiti, and is proud to be part of the Mātai team. With a background in medical reception, she provides reception and administrative support across Mātai’s clinical, research and community activities. Jemma enjoys meeting and working with a wide range of people and loves the variety that comes with working at Mātai. She enjoys being involved in community events and being part of an organisation that brings together healthcare, science and research to make a difference in Tairāwhiti. Outside of work, you’ll usually find Jemma at the beach, spending time with family and making the most of the Tairāwhiti lifestyle.
