Leo Dang is a biomedical and health-technology professional with a long-standing involvement in medical imaging research and cross-border collaboration. He was among the earliest members of the Mātai Medical Research Institute team and served as its first research assistant during the institute’s formative period, contributing to the establishment of early research workflows and technical capability.

Leo is a co-author on the development of the 3D amplified MRI technique and has worked closely with researchers and clinicians on advanced MRI acquisition, image analysis, and data infrastructure. In parallel, he is the Founder and Director of HealthSyncX, where he focuses on healthcare system integration, clinical and research data pipelines, and enabling scalable international research partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region. His interests lie in translational imaging, AI/ML validation, and building robust digital foundations that connect clinical practice with research innovation.
